We need your help! The Week of Welcome committee has organized an “Eagles at Target” bus trip. The Super Target of Southpoint is sponsoring a shopping event on Tuesday, August 16th from 10pm - midnight for first year NCCU students. NCCU first year students will line up in front of the Student Union to catch buses over to Target at 9pm.
Target and several other vendors will offer giveaways, samples and large prizes for a raffle. Wade Banner, NCCU alumnus and K97.5 radio personality, will be the deejay for the event. They are asking NCCU faculty, staff, local students and alumni to participate in the event by shopping, arriving at 9:45pm to cheer on our first year students as they enter the store. The goal is to create a large NCCU presence by wearing NCCU clothing.
University departments will be allowed to set-up a table and are asked to make it fun and interactive. The following departments will have table: Academic Affairs – 1 Table, Academic Community Service Learning Program – 1 Table, Athletics – 3 Tables, Campus Recreation and Wellness – 1 Table, NCCU Alumni Association, Inc./Alumni Relations – 1 Table, Residential Life/RHA – 1 Table, Student Health & Counseling Services – 1 Table, Student Union/SGA/SAB – 1 Table.
Target has asked that everyone who is setting up and staffing a table plan to arrive by 8:45pm on August 16th. Please wear NCCU clothing/something to represent your department/organization.
We created this jersey for the moderator of the "Pigskin Preview".
The event allows the area’s Division I head football coaches (Duke, UNC, NCSU, NCCU, ECU) to meet with the public to discuss the upcoming season. It is produced by The Triangle/East Chapter of the National Football Foundation College Hall of Fame
On this, the 100th year of THEE Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Subject 2 Change will have Complimentary 16 oz. commemorative cups with a purchase of $30 or more in apparel at the conclave.
See us at the Vendors area, booth 316, in the convention hall in DC to get yours.
