2014 Durham-Orange County NPHC Toy Drive & Holiday Social

The Durham-Orange County Chapter of the National Pan Hellenic Council will be having their annual Toy Drive and Holiday Social. The event will be Tuesday, December 9^th from 7:00pm – 9:00pm at Tobacco Road Sports Café in Downtown Durham. All are invited to attend- Greek and Non-Greek alike.

While there is no cost to enter, it is preferred that everyone who attends please bring a new, unwrapped toy appropriate for ages 6-18, or cash to contribute towards our Toy Drive. All donations received, will be given to the Orange County Department of Social Services for their annual Toy Chest program, which provides the opportunity for underprivileged children to receive gifts for the holidays.

Come out for some fun, fellowship, and the chance to make a difference! Also, please forward this message and attached flyer to your family and friends in the area.

2010 Subject 2 Change intern attends Great Sports Legends Dinner

One of our interns from 2010, Mr. Ish Hinson, had the opportunity to represent the Creative Artist Agency by attending the 29^th Annual Great Sports Legends Dinner at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City, hosted by Tom Brokaw of NBC News.

The annual event benefits The Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis and raises funds to support the cutting-edge spinal cord injury research done by researchers at the University Of Miami Miller School Of Medicine’s Miami Project to Cure Paralysis. Since its inception in 1985, the Great Sports Legends Dinner has honored more than 300 sports legends and honorees and has raised more than $100 million for The Miami Project’s spinal cord injury research programs.

Subject 2 Change intern set to Graduate from North Carolina Central University

--Durham, NC 2014

Ms. Ciera Fox, native of Bermuda, will graduate from North Carolina Central University on May 10, 2014 with a Bachelors Degree in Computer Information Systems. Ciera has interned with Subject 2 Change since 2012 in various capacities.

She will move back to Bermuda to complete an internship for the summer and go on to graduate school in America in the fall.

Ciera is active in Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. among other activities at NCCU.
