M.O.I. Photos & s2c Present: Tattoo Diaries Entry #3: Phonte' of Little Brother & Foreign Exchange

1. When did you get your tattoo?
I got it in 2004, I think. Or maybe it was early '05....

2. Where (location/city) did you get your tattoo?

Durham, NC at Dogstar Tattoo on Ninth St.

3. Was anyone with you?

I wanna say either my manager Big Dho and/or my partner Big Pooh was with me.

4. What was the occasion?

We was fresh off that Atlantic advance money and was feelin ig'nant. Ah, the folly of youth.

5. How long did it take?

An hour or so...

6. Did it turn out the way you wanted it?
Yep...turned out exactly the way I wanted.

7. Did it hurt?

Nah, it wasn't too bad....

8. What does the tattoo symbolize?

The way I like to live my life. Harmony is a bunch of elements working together as one. That's an ideal that I try to apply in my everyday living.

9. How many do you have in all?

I have 9 in all.

10. Do you want more tattoos?

I'm gonna get my sleeves finished, and then I'm done.
